Web Presence Specialist

A volunteer eager to help us in maintaining our web presence.  Should be somewhat knowledgeable about websites and willing to learn the tools to keep the website up to date.

Grant Writer

Our Home Transitional is looking for volunteer grant writers to help us secure government and private grants. Interested persons should fill out the application via the link below.

Financials Committee Members
We are looking for a Financial experts to help our Treasurer and CPA to manage our finances, expenditures and other money-related matters. If you have a background in finance and accounting, contact us for more information about the position. It is likely this could become a paid position in time!

Governance Committee

We are looking for a Board Governance Committee Chair and committee members to serve:  Governance Committee discusses this group's challenging responsibility in overseeing the performance of the board and managing compliance to the organization's mission. Discover how this committee can help all boards — new or seasoned — live up to their highest potential, keeping board members energized and engaged in maintaining value and control.

Programs Committee

To set up programs for our female veterans staying at OHT for fun and involvement. Such as crafts making events to sell projects at fairs or on ebay; gardening on our property and at homes of other aging vets; bowling events; etc.

Fundraising Committe

To work with our Fundraising Committee Chair, Thomas Yonan with the SVA to help with major fundraising events that will bring in huge amounts of funds per event.  Contacting corporations, local chains such as Meijers, Walmart, etc
